Duwaktu is a personal journaling app. Your diary entries are stored exclusively on your device. We do not operate servers, we do not create user accounts, and we do not transmit your writing to any server we control.
Duwaktu does not collect, store, or transmit:
The following data exists only on your device and is never transmitted to us:
You can permanently delete all of this data by uninstalling the app. Exported files (if you use the export feature) are saved to your device storage and are your responsibility.
Duwaktu uses the following third-party SDKs. Each has its own privacy practices and may collect device-level or usage data independently. We do not control or have access to what these services collect.
We display banner advertisements on the Calendar and Settings screens (free users only). AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage data to serve relevant ads. See Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized ads via your device's ad settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used in aggregate (e.g., which screens are visited, session length). Data is anonymized and associated with a randomly generated device ID, not with you personally. See Firebase Privacy Information.
When the app crashes, Crashlytics sends a crash report that includes the stack trace, device model, Android version, and app version. This report contains no diary content. See Firebase Privacy Information.
If you purchase Duwaktu Premium, the transaction is handled entirely by Google Play. We receive only a confirmation of the purchase (purchase token). We do not receive your payment details. See Google Payments Privacy Notice.
Duwaktu is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used this app and you have concerns, please contact us.
All data is stored on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. We have no ability to recover data after uninstallation, as we do not hold copies of it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
